MEET THE TEAM

Randy Hutchins

PNW Outdoors & Motorsports Director

After nearly 30 years of coaching high school basketball, I joined the Oregon FCA team as the Area Director for Central and Eastern Oregon. After almost 5 years in that role God has led me to accept the position of Director of FCA Outdoors for the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska). FCA’s ministry model is to be used by God to connect peoples’ passions for their sport to their relationship with Him. As an avid outdoorsman, I am excited to pursue “EVERY” coach and athlete through the platform of outdoors sports and activities, as we endeavor to be disciples that make disciples.

Sami Stelpflug

Social Media & Website Coordinator

My love for the outdoors started young. I would always joke with my friends saying "I was raised by Boy Scouts". My dad was the troop leader and my brother went on to be an Eagle scout and I would get to tag along on all of their adventures. I was also raised in a family of swimmers and swam throughout college. It was in college that I heard the Gospel and began my relationship with God! I have loved working with college athletes,  sharing the Gospel, discipling young women and more! I am so excited to use my love for creativity to serve God on the PNW Outdoors & Motorsports team!

Colten Holdorf

Willamette Valley FCA Outdoors Area Rep

Growing up in Bozeman, MT., there were ample opportunities to explore nature. From an early age, I developed a passion for fly fishing. Being on the water was the place I felt most comfortable. As I went through college, trying to find my direction in life, I felt the Lord calling me to other things. I took a job with an outdoor ministry focused on serving pastors and other ministry leaders. While working there, I discovered that I want to spend the rest of my life serving the servant, leading the leader, and shepherding the shepherd. After serving there for 5 years, my wife Lauren and I made the move to Oregon to serve with FCA Outdoors. Here, I will be taking advantage of the many outdoor spaces to refresh and serve coaches, donors and other FCA ministry partners. I am so stoked to see how God uses the “to and through coaches” model to change the lives of so many in the Willamette Valley and beyond.

Jami Stone

Alaska FCA Outdoors Area Rep

I moved to Alaska at the age of 4 and fell in love with the outdoors immediately. I was outside all day building forts, making snowmen, 4-wheeling, fishing, skiing, etc. My parents let us try pretty much any sport we wanted, and I was drawn to anything with adrenaline. I was a competitive athlete in gymnastics, downhill skiing, and diving. Later, went on to compete D1 diving at the University of Hawaii for 4 years where I first heard of FCA and began my walk with Christ.

After graduating in 2020, I moved back to Alaska and wanted to bring FCA with me and be able to share my love of Jesus with other like-minded athletes/adventurers. Now we have a community of FCA in the small town of Chugiak, AK that is seeking Jesus while exploring the outdoors, including surfing Alaska’s unique Bore Tide throughout the summers. I’m excited to see how the Lord continues to move in the great north and to see our community grow.

Amaia Black

Idaho FCA Rodeo Area Rep

Amaia grew up in a strong Christian home in Homedale, Idaho, where she played sports all through school. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Wade Black, they moved to Montana for his rodeo scholarship at Montana State University. After 5 years, they moved back to Idaho to start their family. Her husband and her have a family business, Training for the Cross, LLC, which focuses on training horses and ministry. Together, they raise four children, Asa Mateo, Josephine, Cylas, and Samuel—who share their love for sports and rodeo.

Amaia feels a strong calling to disciple young people, emphasizing their worth and identity in Jesus over achievements. She is excited to join the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to help build their equine and rodeo branch, while also being an Area Representative and serving a couple local schools. In her free time, Amaia enjoys activities with her family including riding, roping, playing games, and attending her kids' activities and competitions.
